Ancient Beholder (Font)

Description

Inspired by one of my all time favorite dungeon-delving RPG's from the DOS era, I wanted to try to recapture that charm of the old-school DOS-era fonts like those seen in old AD&D adventure games. After completing this, I realized that I'd yet again created something that I had no use for, so I'm sticking it up here in the hopes that someone can do something cool with it. Available in gold and silver, this font is sure to add a dash of nostalgic charm to any retro game title. All-in-all you could do a lot worse for $1.

File Format

Included you'll find two .png files with transparent backgrounds that include all standard English letters in capital and lowercase. Numbers 0 to 9 (so don't worry, we got you covered for the sequels too!) as well as a few punctuation marks such as a period, a comma, an exclamation point, and a question mark.

Font Used

To make this retro font I used CloisterBlack BT. (I included this just in case someone needs to match the font up or was just curious. :) )

Usage and Legalese

Once purchased, the owner of this font my use it for personal or commercial projects without needing to attribute me for the font. (Though attribution is appreciated, and I'd love to see what you use the font for.) You may not, however, resell the font itself or redistribute the files.
