Backstory

This pack was born out of a desire to push myself out of a creative slump. I downloaded a few synthesizer virtual instruments, created a massive random rollchart for various sounds and presets, and challenged myself to use random synths to create music. It was a way to break free from self-imposed limitations and force myself into new creative territory. The result is a collection of loops that combine both the spontaneity of the process and the eerie, vintage sounds of Soviet-era synthesizers. It's an experiment, a personal challenge, and a soundtrack that captures both the beauty and strangeness of the creative journey. Doing a STALKER / Soviet Horror style horror theme was sort of my natural go to as that's a genre of music that never truly seems to overstay its welcome.
